When will the Valuation Office deal with revision requests submitted by my local authority?

This Office will agree priorities with each local authority, considering such factors as the importance of each application and its potential to raise rates revenue. Generally new buildings and considerations under the BIDs legislation would receive priority status. However there is an obligation under the Valuation Act, 2001 to deal with each case within 6 months of its assignment to the Revision Officer and every effort is made to dispose of such casework within a shorter period.

Can we get Valuation Reports for properties we have listed for revision?

Valuation Reports are only made available when the statutory valuation has been published. Interim reports would not be made available while the valuation process is underway as the disclosure of information at that stage would be premature and contrary to the publication provisions of the Valuation act,
